Connecting our devices to the web and sharing information exposes our community to cyber risk, whether we are at home, on campus, or on the go. In week one of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we are emphasizing the vulnerability of internet-connected devices and how we can best secure them.

WHY IS MFA IMPORTANT?
Implementing MFA provides additional layer(s) of authentication beyond your passwords and makes it more difficult for a cybercriminal to gain access to your information, such as your bank account, email, and UCLA system, even if passwords or PINs are compromised.
