According to a 2023 global study, 43% of Gen Z and 36% of Millennials reported being victims of cybercrimes, in addition to the Silent Generation (20%) and Baby Boomers (15%). Many of the people in these groups do not have equal access to formal cybersecurity training, which puts you in a unique position to help spread awareness.
In Week 3 of Cybersecurity Awareness Month (CAM), we are focusing on how you, your friends, and your family can support each other to adapt to the risk that connecting with others poses. During this week, the CAM content addresses how you can:
- Outsmart cybercriminals to defend against social engineering attacks.
- Prioritize safety while interacting on social media.
- Travel securely by safeguarding sensitive data and assets while on the go.
