October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month

This is the time of year when we focus on strengthening the cybersecurity foundation of our university. Cybersecurity Awareness Month takes on new meaning this October as we kick off Bruin Secure, a cybersecurity awareness and training effort for all students, faculty, and staff. In the year ahead, we need to lean into understanding why cybersecurity is so important and what we can do to be more secure. If we do our part to be #BruinSecure, we can make our community a safer place for all of us.  

Over the coming weeks, we will highlight several topics relevant to the higher education community on our Cybersecurity Awareness Month page. Also, check out the Cyber Awareness Month events being sponsored by other UC locations in the navigation bar to the left!
