TPRM Scope Definitions
- Systemwide - The vendor/product has been approved under a systemwide agreement.
- Campuswide - The vendor/product has been approved under a campuswide agreement.
- Department-wide - The vendor/product has been approved for use in one or more departments.
TPRM Status
TPRM Status Definitions
- Requested - Requested tools are in the earliest phases for inclusion in Bruin Learn. This phase includes learning more about the functionality, supplier, costs, support options, existing campus or UC licensing agreements, etc.
- In Review - The product/vendor is undergoing review by multiple stakeholders, including, information security, accessibility, data use and privacy, and UCLA Purchasing.
- On Hold - The product/vendor is on hiatus for any number of reasons, including remediation of accessibility, security, data use, and privacy concerns; identifying available funding sources; negotiations with the supplier; re-consideration of the original need, etc.
- Approved - The product/vendor has been approved for use subject to the Protection level indicated.
- Conditional Approval - The product/vendor has been approved and may be used however, conditions apply to the use. This is most commonly used when an accessibility condition must be met such as accommodations for certain disabilities or when the vendor has been approved for a limited period of time. *Check with procurement on the conditional status
- Protection Level 1 (P1) - The product/vendor has been approved for P1 information.
- Protection Level 2 (P2) - The product/vendor has been approved for P2 information
- Protection level 3 (P3) - The product/vendor has been approved for P3 information
- Protection level 4 (P4)* - The product/vendor has been approved for P4 information except for regulated information such as HIPAA, PCI, CUI. Additional approval is necessary for regulated data.
- Approved - HIPAA - The vendor/product has been approved for information and assets regulated by HIPAA.
- Approved - PCI - The vendor/product has been approved for information and assets regulated by PCI-DSS.
